Troop Positions of Responsibility

Below is a list of the troop Positions of Responsibility (POR). Appointments are made by the SPL with the advice and consent of the Scoutmaster. PORs (Troop Jobs) are appointed generally each Fall and Spring. Scouts usually should not hold a POR for more than two consecutive terms, 1 year max. Troop PORs are for the good of the troop to keep it operating in peak performance as a youth led, youth run organization.

Each POR title below is a link to the job description and expectations for that position. Should a Scout not be meeting those expectations, he will be mentored on how to perform his job better, but if there is no improvement he may ultimately be removed from the POR and will need to wait until the next cycle for a new appointment
